Program & Project Management

FTC’s approach to Program & Project Management (P&PM) draws upon the knowledge, experience, and techniques we have developed across our engagements to execute projects effectively and efficiently. It’s a strategic competency for FTC, which enables us to tie project activities & outcomes to customer goals & objectives. We understand that different projects and customers require different project management methodologies, and our Project Managers are well versed and certified in the Project Management Institute’s PMBOK as well as Agile Methodologies, enabling our team to provide tailored management solutions, which truly address the client’s programmatic needs.

In practice, Program management activities require the same resources to scale their processes across multiple programs or projects, which in turn requires a more complex approach to Time, Cost, and Scope Management. To address this, we apply best practice principles in conjunction with a Plan-Do-Check-Act quality approach when providing program and project management support. This provides FTC’s P&PM team with a deeper understanding of the program or project-specific challenges, providing the foundational requirements to minimize risks, while ensuring quality, and delivering results on time and within budget.


Information Technology

FTC’s Information Technology experience spans the full lifecycle, from initial business needs analysis, to architecture and solution design, to rapid application prototyping and full User Experience implementation. Throughout this lifecycle our teams focus upon the alignment of contextual business requirements to the solution being designed and delivered. This top to bottom approach ensures that our client’s business needs are met, regardless of the selected technology or architectural approach.

In addition to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which applies in varying degrees to all levels of IT work, we specifically focus on Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Solutions including Cloud Architecture and Platform as a Service (PaaS), Big Data and Business Intelligence and Analytics, and User Centered Design which combines the User Experience (UX) with the overall Information Architecture.



FTC provides comprehensive training programs in support of both Commercial and Federal Operations. Our training professionals design, develop and instruct a wide range of technical training programs. We develop and conduct training using vetted, effective and experienced instructors. We have experience using a multitude of instructional design methods including the ADDIE model and Blooms technology. We tailor training support specific to your needs. Our approach supports a variety of learning environments including one-on-one sessions, classroom sessions, workshops discussion forums, brown bag meetings, online among others. As part of our lessons learned, we survey students and analyze responses, then revise and update our training material and methods.

Security Solutions

Our Security Solutions are comprised of two core areas of specialty, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity. We currently provide Information Assurance services to the US Intelligence Community as well as other federal agencies. FTC has a proven track record of providing certified CyberSecurity specialists to federal agencies such as the Department of Defense (DoD), Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other mission critical departments of our nations federal government. Specifically, we have lead major initiatives in the federal government to improve agility, automation, and overall response times across agencies responding to these critical incidents or attacks.
